geotechnical & Environmental drilling

Stoney Streets Drilling accurately gathers soil samples with our geotechnical and environmental drilling services to efficiently get your projects off the ground.

Drilling services that

move your

project forward

Before a project can begin, you have to start at the ground level. Gathering soil and water samples efficiently and precisely ensures accurate site evaluation to determine if the site is suitable for your proposed project. Investigating the site stratigraphy allows you to evaluate the subgrade conditions for foundation design and assess the area for possible contamination. Stoney Streets Drilling offers geotechnical and environmental drilling services to help perform these necessary investigations and help move your project forward. The whole team at Stoney Streets cares about the success of our clients; it’s as if the owner is running the drill. Our drill rig itself has the capability to drill down through and maneuver across most ground conditions. If you need geotechnical or environmental drilling services you can trust, contact Stoney Streets Drilling.

Geotechnical

drilling services

Knowing and understanding your site’s subgrade conditions are necessary for your project to advance, succeed, and move forward. Stoney Streets Drilling’s geotechnical drilling services help you evaluate essential subgrade conditions such as soil stratigraphy, undrained shear strength, and groundwater depth, so you can:

  • Identify bearing capacities for shallow foundations;
  • Determine skin friction for deep foundations;
  • Model for slope stability; and,
  • Design slab-on-grade and asphalt structures.

With accurate, timely, and on-budget access to soil samples, you can avoid surprises and keep your project moving forward.

We can drill up to 100 feet with our track drill rig to deliver thorough and reliable subsurface investigation services. We’re also ready to tackle Alberta’s diverse terrains and varying ground conditions to get to your site when you need us.
